August 2009
i went to Batanes islands on my own to do research for the loving sake of my thesis.
(Batanes - lovely group of islands known for being always hit by storms yet offers breath taking landscapes,
crystal clear waters and proud culture)
just packed with my overflowing confidence, courage, alertness and thirst for adventure and add that with stubbornness.
my scheduled 4-day stay was ruined by the blessed typhoon that stranded me 3 more days in the captivating islands.
a good family adopted me for few days that added up to my experiences and research.
thanks to everyone who helped me there, i passed the thesis and graduated on time.
i so loved it there that i swore to god i'm gonna come back.
August 2010
a year after, to repay my gratitude to my 2 friends having their own thesis..
i joined them in a 4-day adventure in Bohol island.
we stayed in an adventure park doing rappelling, river tubing, caving, suislide (zipline), and plunge (sort-of-bungee jumping) for 3 days conquering each of our own fears becoming braggingly courageous every activity.
then on the 4th day, hours before our flight home, we decided to go to another island known for its white sand beach thru a tricycle. imagine that! haha..
then came the rain that caused us to fallback and hurry to the airport(on the other island) wet.
because i love my friends, those adventures are so treasured.
July 2011
almost another year again.
i still don't have enough money to go back to batanes.
but i had the craziness to go to Boracay island.
a proud Philippine destination
but that's on a rainy season.
so what's up with the winds, the waves, and the rains?
they can't stop us from enjoying what boracay is proud to serve.
this time we're a pack of 18 so cost on activities were far cheaper.
another 4-day itinerary packed with activities such as zipline, atv, banana boat ride, parasailing, helmet diving and island hopping.
then we were lucky enough to insert snorkeling, skimboarding, invade night paties and have henna tattoos.
so fun and so worth it. gained experience and new friends.
being so laidback, every two months i feel so bored that i crave for out of town trips.
but i was so occupied with work, and now with review classes, that i can't pursue vacations anymore.
hopefully after the board exam, especially if i pass, i can accomplish my to do list:
-backpack hiking in Pico de loro
-travel Palawan
-learn surfing and wind surfing
-go back to Batanes hopefully w/ someone
-and travel the world
